Complying with global data protection laws is already a challenge in our fast-paced, ever changing environment, but our desire goes even further. The Woven Planet Privacy team enables our businesses to create mobility that people can enjoy and trust by embedding privacy into the designs and operations of our organizations, products, and services. Compliance is just a milestone; helping Woven Planet realize its vision of “Mobility to Love, Safety to Live” is our mission.

We are looking for a training and awareness specialist who is passionate about both developing and executing privacy training and awareness programs with a multi-perspective mindset.  In many jurisdictions, compliance training is explicitly or implicitly mandated by law. Training can be boring and ineffective if the key message to employees is “You have to take this training because that’s what the law says”. Instead, our programs should cultivate a culture in which our colleagues are motivated to learn more about privacy and what they can do to protect it, for all of our stakeholders, including themselves and those important to them. We need an out-of-the-box thinker who can convince others and make fans of their ideas to achieve this ambitious goal.

  • Develop and implement privacy training and awareness programs
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training and utilize relevant evaluation data to keep improving the programs
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to conduct trainings
  • Work with various stakeholders to communicate our privacy and security initiatives to the public
  • Participate in the internal policy making process to ensure our policies are easy to understand and follow for our colleagues

  • Experience implementing a privacy training program at multinational company
  • A proven track record of managing people both on-site and virtually
  • Fluent in English and Japanese

  • Basic knowledge of security
  • Basic knowledge of privacy laws
