The Role
As a Business Analyst in the Energy Systems Operations team, you will be
responsible for investigating processes and systems for avenues for
improvement, optimization, or refactoring.
Generate reports, analysis, presentations, and recommendations after investigation and interviews of team
members.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders and end users of systems and processes to define strategy and requirements for process implementation and improvement
- Develop analyses, reports, and presentations based on data gathered or generated from various sources
- Write and adapt novel and existing SQL queries using advanced standardized and performant SQL best practices
- Build dashboards within Tableau or PowerBI, and internal Tesla data visualization platforms (connecting to Databases)
- Focus on documentation and producing tested, extensible code
- Understanding of any software or product development process (EG:Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, etc.)
- Knowledge of Visio, Lucid Chart, Draw.io or any flow or diagramming tool
- Knowledge of basic statistical data analysis concepts
- Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Perforce or other version control software
- Usage of Python, R, or SAS for data analysis
