The Royalties and Reporting (RoaR) product area is developing products that are enabling the monetization of all audio content on our platform. Our mission is to enable millions of creators to live off their art. Our teams are using open-source technologies to deliver business-critical datasets, key company metrics & reports.
As a Data Engineer in our product area, you will collaborate with other Engineers, Product Managers & internal business partners to deliver solutions for a complex business domain. Our engineers build highly scalable data pipelines and are responsible for processing huge volumes of business-critical data.
What you’ll do
Build robust & scalable data pipelines using Scio, Flink, Flyte, Scala & Python.
Engage in a collaborative environment in order to deliver value to our users and support company-wide initiatives.
Define data models that tie together fragmented data across the entire organization.
Write robust, scalable & maintainable software that transforms large volumes of data into business-critical reports & datasets.
Who you are
You are experienced in one or more higher-level JVM-based data processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Beam, Flink, Crunch, Scalding, Storm, Spark, or similar.
You are proficient in at least one JVM-based language (e.g. Java, Scala) and familiar with SQL.
You are knowledgeable about data modeling, in either a relational or data warehousing context.
You have experience operating in a cloud-based environment like Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or similar.
You care about agile software processes, data-informed development, reliability, and responsible experimentation.
You strive to deliver high-quality systems… through best practices when it comes to coding, testing & documentation.
