As part of the Music Insights for Creators Platform Team you will be responsible for creating a well-designed suite of core datasets and tools that enable Music Mission squads to build trustworthy, reliable features more efficiently. From discovery to prototyping to GA, leveraging this data is a best-in-class experience for data practitioners who find that they can innovate faster than ever before.

What you’ll do
Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks like Scio, Storm, and Spark.
Use best practices in continuous integration and delivery.
Help drive optimization, testing and tooling to improve data quality.
Collaborate with other engineers, specialists and partners, taking learning and leadership opportunities that will arise every single day.
Work in cross-functional agile teams to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives.
Who you are
You know how to work with high-scale heterogeneous data, preferably with distributed systems such as Hadoop, BigTable, and Cassandra.
You know how to write distributed, high-scale services in Scala, Java or Python.
You are knowledgeable about data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques.
You care about agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability, and responsible experimentation.
You care about quality and know what it means to ship high quality code.
You value team success over personal success.
