Staff Data Scientist

Eventbrite has the world’s largest data repository of live events, powering millions of events and hundreds of millions of ticket transactions each year in 170+ countries. Our data scientists work to take that collection of interactions, synthesize them, and leverage them to make the product work better for our customers and creators.

The Data Science team is dedicated to leveraging data and modern machine learning tools to directly impact creator experiences across the entire product surface. Each member of the team is embedded into a product and engineering squad and works side by side with them to solve their customers’ pain points. At the same time, data scientists collaborate sharing innovative ideas, technical components, and model artifacts across squads both to stay connected and to deliver exceptional results.

You will work directly with an engineering and product squad to design models and data assets that power critical product experiences and move customer metrics. You will collaborate with other data scientists to design accurate and robust models, stay up to date on the latest approaches, and build a strong machine learning foundation for the company.
