The team
Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across DocuSign. The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in DocuSign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.  

This position
As a Senior Data Analyst, Financial Operations, you will act as a change agent to drive digital Finance transformation in support of DocuSign’s fast-growing business and global expansion. You will seek innovative solutions to guide the evolution of Finance capabilities. You will be a thought partner to influence leadership and ensure we prioritize projects aligned with our strategic goals and use resources wisely.

This position is an Individual Contributor, reports to the Senior Manager, Finance Operations and is designated flex.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key initiatives and delivery of a wide range of projects that drives business growth in support of the broader organization’s vision
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-geography teams including partnership with Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Operations, IT, Sales Ops, Customer Success, Tax, Legal and other functions to carry out key deliverables and achieve business objectives
  • Drive FP&A system & process improvements; Streamline forecasting cycles via system enhancements (Adaptive/planning tools)
  • Support FP&A close processes including internal and external reporting
  • Oversee forecasting data management; examine complex data to optimize the efficiency and quality of the data, resolve data quality problems, and collaborate with system developers to improve systems and database designs
  • Lead ongoing financial planning system administration and maintenance, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting & reporting
  • Assist in implementation and continued development of future financial planning system roadmap
  • Support comprehensive finance & accounting transformations; Lead efforts in requirements gathering, testing and workflow developments
  • Analyze existing and future state business processes, systems and flows of data to identify opportunities for improvement; implementation partners, architects, developers and business units to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Explore advanced digital technology and carry out an execution plan aimed to enhance finance agility
  • Design and manage program standards that can be widely adopted, including best practices, work procedures, application, quality objectives, lessons learned, change management methods, and key metrics for assessing progress
  • Establish critical path analysis, schedules, budgets, and staffing to manage support of strategic programs

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Data science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in FP&A, Consulting or Technology fields
  • Experience in FP&A planning systems is highly preferred (Adaptive, Anaplan, Oracle, WDAY)
  • Experience in program management and end to end Finance process improvements

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado base salary range: $84,900 – $102,100 and eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
