You will report to the Field Engineering Competitive Leader

The Impact you will have:

As the Data Engineering Competitive Lead, you will:

  • Shape and deliver a strategy for using market intelligence to win over competitors, in partnership with field engineering, sales, product, technical enablement, and product marketing
  • Partner with go-to-market teams to create technical competitive sales strategies, product demonstrations, collateral, and tools
  • Present at industry events, and Databricks customer and partner events
  • Author white-papers and engage with customers and partners

What we look for:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience in software or a technologically relevant field
  • 3+ years experience selling, architecting, or implementing cloud-native Data Engineering Solutions
  • Experience developing content to help sellers, partners and customers understand the competitive landscape
  • 1+ years experience in a formal or informal competitive role
  • Open to travel up to 10% per month
