We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and dedicated person to join Bill.com’s Risk Strategy team.
As the Sr.Threat Intelligence Analyst, you’ll be an integral part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in fraud and credit risk management. You’ll get hands-on training on developing proper internal controls by leveraging analytics and technology solutions to underpin efficient execution of governance, optimizing risk and compliance policies and processes, and improving business performance.
You will be considered an integral member of various cross-functional project teams, be the voice of Risk Strategy in discussions, and mitigate credit risk to our organization.
Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or similar field
Minimum 5 years of experience in threat monitoring or risk analytics.
Adept in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools
Possess domain knowledge in payments and risk
Fraud or Credit Investigative experience is desirable
The ability to articulate technical knowledge into business terms/actionable insights, and vice versa
The ability to untangle a complex or vague scenario into smaller questions before solving them

Expected Outcomes in 12 months:
Adept understanding of the products and the different fraud vectors including fraudster’s intention, how they staged the attack, and which customer segments are being targeted
Derive insights from large data set analysis that helps to identify fraud issues across the platform
Develop dashboard to track fraud mitigation performance
The ability to triangulate the fraud ring and to capture all related fraud accounts
Formulate effective countermeasures under time constraint upon detecting a new fraud vector
Formulate long term solutions that balance between user experience and fraud mitigation. This will be achieved via collaboration with Product, Engineer, Operations, etc
