Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management , Statistics, Analytics, or similar field. Advanced degree preferred.
Adept at SQL queries, reporting and presenting findings
Proficient in Excel
Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Looker or Quicksight are a plus
Excellent organizational and time management skills – must possess ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
Desirable to have experience in payments, financial services, ecommerce or SaaS companies
Experience with, or interest in, data models, visualization and segmentation techniques
Credit risk evaluation, fraud risk evaluation, or machine learning model building experience are a plus
Expected Outcomes
Analyze internal and external data sources to provide insights and recommendations
Create, maintain and continuously refine rules / models
Develop portfolio level analytics and reporting
Produce analytical reports and information about trends
Design and implementation of high level strategies
Continuously refine existing strategies
Provide ongoing performance tracking of decision systems and statistical models
